Sun Gazing part 2 ‘Tini’s adventure’ 1/24/17

sungazing

1 minute 50 seconds, Tini goes to the beach for a yoga walk (mostly upper body arm exercises). She has to pick up breakfast items at the grocer and figures she can drive there, sun gaze, shop and get home for yoga with neighbor at 8:30am. When she gets to the grocery store the sun is starting to rise so she stops to park, and finding a patch of grass, take’s flip flops off and YIKES!!! grass spurs, them nasty freaking things. Tini realizes this was a bad idea when as she sun gazes there is a semi trailer-truck blocking her way as it passes the A1A hwy in front of her separating the beach and parking lot. Tini, did get in her minute-fifty, never to be repeated in this manor again, WHEW!.
2 minutes 40 seconds, Tini gazing is intense. She stares into this ball of fire opening her mind up to the calmness of her body. Cool grass beneath her feet help bring her senses to the sounds of the neighborhood surrounding her. She has been repeating silently the mantra of riding all negative obstructions in her path…’om gam ganapataye namaha’ 108 times ending with AUM 3 times. This mantra removes internal and external struggles.
3 minutes 30 seconds, Tini takes the sun gazing with the thin clouds covering, so not the full gaze but nonetheless gazing. Her life’s path is calm but there is still that nag in the back of her mind (I need to get out of this job that’s irritating me).
4 minutes 10 seconds, Tini missed the first 20 minutes rise of the sun because of the cloud cover. So when the sun finally popped up it was already almost too late to gaze. So she took the chance any ways and was tearing up blinking the brightness away, repeating her mantra through it all. The ganesh 108 mantra takes approximately 10 minutes so she continues to stand grounding face towards the sun but the eyes closed. When finished she understands water is an essential part of her life. She adds organic apple cider vinegar, local honey, Dr.OZ’s lemon juice recipe (juiced lemons, and ginger set on counter in a container with a tablespoon of sea salt in the bottom for 72 hours) and a dash of cayenne pepper. She drinks this concoction religiously throughout the day.
5 minutes 30 seconds, Tini misses the sun this morning. The rain was good for the earth so she doesn’t mind and hope to catch the sunset. That evening she was released from work early and decided to go for a run on the beach but when her run was complete the sunset was still too high, so she decided to do her yoga warrior dance…see video link below

Tini, knew she had to find a optimal place to gaze at the sun before it disappeared under the horizon so she drove to the end of 419 pineda causeway to gaze. Pulled off the side of the road and had to wait a few minutes more because the intensity of the sun was still too bright. Getting out of the car she wanted to make sure there weren’t any grass spurs, then found a spot near the side of her van and did her sunset gazing while curious onlookers drove by.
5 minutes 50 seconds. Tini has been struck with gazing challenges. The clouds are blocking her gazing but taking it in stride, she just does a ‘regaze’, she likes to call it. So when the clouds block the gazing in the morning, then she gazes in the evening and when the evening’s sun is blocked the next day will have to do.
6 minutes, 20 seconds. This gaze is a solid one, gazing without interrupted cloud cover, yahoo!!!. However all through the 6 minute gazing, at 6:30 seconds, 6:40, 6:50 the little and sometimes white puffs would roll across the sky and block the sun. By this time frame Tini is pretty flexible. When she gets off work and does not have time to drive to her Washington Lake location the end of the airport in front of the security fence, with the noise of traffic will have to do.To date Tini’s been working on incorporating deep breaths with the ‘getting rid of obstacles in her path’ ganesh mantra’, “Om Gram Ganpataye Namah”. Tini’s yoga class is 6am every Friday Nov-April at her friends studio in Indialantic, FL Aquarian Dream. She’s noticing an increase in numbers and sense of peace surrounding her everyday life.
There is a challenge however, separating business and personal yoga. Tini loves her personal yoga time…She incorporates Netra Vyayamam (eye exercises), Mantra (yoga singing), Pranayama (yoga breathing), Asana ( yoga poses), Bandhas (energy body locks) in her personal practice but sometimes is too busy to do this daily or if she admits to herself too lazy. She’s working on her discipline and improving along with the gazing.
7 minutes. Tini had cloud cover both sunrise and sunset again so has to regaze the next day.
‘The Climb’, lyrics by Miley Cyrus , is on youtube. Every morning on the way to work, Tini sings her song to lift her spirits and prepare her for the day. She does not sing so well but it helps her to feel good inside, it brings her confidence and keeps her mind focused on that goal of replacing her income at work with her business profits. She knows that the ‘I love you’s’ to herself will bring her closer to that future happening and each day she works toward believing that love inside of her with every fiber of her being.
