Feel Good

Feel good NOW. Allow yourself to feel the good life has to offer. Have you ever been in a situation were things do not seem to be going your way? we sit, or stand, or we are working, feeling low, insecure, angry, and just down right shitty. The first thing to do is to really recognized this state we are in. The second thing to do is ask ourselves, do I honestly want to feel this way right now? if the answer is no ask, ‘how can I change this disempowering emotion, to a hopeful, a good feeling’.

Well, I could start thinking about all the good feelings I have when I _____________. When we begin to focus on the circumstances we enjoy in life, like the sensation of walking on the beach with my bare feet and the wind blowing through my hair, or just taking a walk down the street and opening up my awareness to everything that surrounds me, or just sitting quietly and listening to my own heart beat. These actions still our minds, they open up new ideas, which lead us to new possibilities about how we view life.

We should never cut off the possibility that there is always a solution to any trouble we might have. We must say to ourselves, ‘ Hey self, its not so bad. After all I have all my finger’s and toes, I have both arms and both legs, I can breath in and out and I CAN smile when I look at myself in the mirror’. Yah! not bad.
